2016/2017 SEASON: MARCH 2017 FIXTURE:

BOURNEMOUTH VS SOUTHAMPTON:

A very difficult away match against the Bournemouth.  A very attacking side with 'no fear' tagging. 

Wilson and Wilshere will be key for them.  Wilson has been scoring for fun this season.  Wilshere is working very hard to show that he is still a top class midfield player.

I am starting my usual line up.  Pulisic to start ahead of Depay on the left.

As expected, big scoring game.  An important win for us.  First hattrick for Hojbjerg and a beautiful goal Pulisic is highlight of our win.  Another good performance by Wilson for Bournemouth. 

SOUTHAMPTON VS ZENIT:

EURO Cup match, 2nd round.  We will be aiming to carry the EURO Cup this season.  There are still many strong teams in the cup at the moment, PSG and Man Utd still around.  It will be difficult. 

Criscito, Zhirkov and Kokorin will be key for Zenit side.

As for my side, Depay and Redmond to start on the flank and Austin to lead the attacking line.

A good 2-1 win at home.  We manage to fight back after a goal down courtesy for their read card.  Not a good performance but most importantly we carry a goal lead going to the 2nd leg. 

SOUTHAMPTON VS ARSENAL:

After a good EPL run of wins, we are going for our win to stretch our lead in the league.  It will be difficult against a wounded Arsenal side.

Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla will key for the Arsenal side.  Perez to start ahead of Giroud in their attacking line.

Pulisic, Ounas and Origi is back for our side.  Attacking trio is in good run of form at the moment.

A 1-1 draw.  Poor performance from our side especially Pulisic and Origi.

ZENIT VS SOUTHAMPTON: 

2nd leg match.  We hope to defend our lead 2-1 league.

We are going to start the same team as the 1st leg.

A good draw for us.  Most importantly we qualified for the next round which is the Quarter Final.  A good goal from Austin courtesy of sharp crossing from Redmond.  Austin miss a lot of chances though.

SOUTHAMPTON VS WEST BROM:

We are looking to win this game after losing 2 points against Arsenal in our previous game.  Home comfort is very important is this difficult match. 

Rondon will key for Pulis' side.  

We will do our best to dominate possession win the match.

A very lucky win.  A very lucky goal as well from Danilo.  Ugly-ugly win!  Since 3 points is the most important, I'll be happy with this win rather than moaning. 

We are having a good lead over Man Utd after a good run of form and a good run of wins.  Man Utd with a game in hand.  We need to carry this commitment and deliver the best for our side.

Aguero took over Origi as top scorer.  My aim is to lead Southampton to be Premier League giant and of cos European giant as well.  We will no longer be a selling club.
